Eyemax Card & Remote View - Issues - Can't connect
coolie11 replied to ahspao's topic in General Digital Discussion
Try changing some settings for testing, I had this problem a long time ago but unfortunately I cant remember what I changed. 1. Under the User tab in the Setting Screen, uncheck "Apply Control level" 2. In the User Settings Screen Create a new "Non Admin User" and Select all options except "Admin-Mode" and uncheck the box next to "Time". If this doesn't solve the problem, let me know and I'll put my system back together and do some testing. What version Software and Card are you using? P.S. If you are logged in at the server in Admin Mode, you cannot remotely access the server as Admin. -
Need to enhance EyeMax video files
coolie11 replied to Jerry Hofmann's topic in Digital Video Recorders
On the Eyemax Server under the Search tab, use the Save option instead of Backup and choose AVI as the file type to be saved. There are various software that can be used to edit AVI's. -

CCTV Stock Room Wire Install - 5 deg pitch - No Attic Access
coolie11 replied to fuzzelogic's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
I'm pretty sure if you measure the height of the ceiling on the inside and the outside you can drill a hole diagonally from the sofit above the door or even on the front to the attic area that is accessible. I would definitely install the camera in the corner above the door. -
Do u really want to put test card against AVtech DVR ? Sure every installer will love to be able to provide variances of there systems. What do you have in mind? I will love to see a test of AVtech against Kikvision.

Pole Mounted camera with issues when pole light comes on
coolie11 replied to protecvideo's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
I had this problem before, turned out to be an issue with the electrical ground. The environment was that of a warehouse, where the electrical to the pole was energized on a different phase to that of the Camera/DVR. I tried powering the camera locally but this cased another issue creating what is referred to as a ground loop, causing the picture to roll or jitter. I ended up strapping a double 1' piece of Trex (synthetic deck board) to the pole and then mount the camera on the Trex. Been working great since then (over 2 Yrs). -

You're probably waiting on something but, based on your post I don't think you're getting it -
I would say it's the PSU. If you can, try powering camera with a 7Ah battery and see what happens. Is it an IR Camera?
