You do realize that these cameras are not Megapixel cameras but regular analog cameras with a built-in IP server. You might want to look at these (http://www.acti.com/ProductsV2/Product_Information.Asp?strCatalog_ID=57803431-9E23-45A9-A1D8-81F13AC9D55F&strCategory_ID={1F7E10FF-DF72-4E23-A08D-7B19EB22EA2&strProduct_ID={4E62F9B4-64AF-4201-88BE-48EB27F5287) Please note I have never tested any of these, just recommending based on your requirements and manufacture specs.

Viewing Remote DVR on Internet on Mac Computer
coolie11 replied to cuc's topic in General Digital Discussion
Your DVR remote access requires an ActiveX plugin that doesn't work on Mac. What DVR are you using? -
Maybe the camera doesn't recognize enough light to switch back. Swap that camera with one of the others thats functioning properly.

I have seen and used some of Rabbit products, but when you said Debugger, I instantly thought software. To answer your question, No I haven't used the RCM3700. I stumbled across the Stealth ILF-100WD at the distributor on my visit to pickup materials for another job. Until yesterday I had no idea that there was any type of standalone monitors available.

coolie11 replied to ziggy221's topic in General Access Control Discussion

Eyemax by default uses port 80 for web and ports 9091-9112 for client. Did you install this card in your own system or did you purchase it as a complete system? What version software are you using? The best way to setup your DVR, would be behind the router forwarding ports with Windows Firewall disabled and no Anti Virus installed. You can install an Anti Virus Software, but you will have to manual configure the software to allow connections to the system and set permissions for the DVR software. I have over 20 of these system's in the field for a long time with no issues. I normally change the web port to 9090 and then port forward ports 9090-9112 for the IP Address assigned to the DVR. If need help with the setup PM me.

Setting up DVR to view online
coolie11 replied to bonso's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
1. Configure the Wireless Bridge to connect to your wireless router/access point. 2. Configure Router with DynDns info. 3. Connect DVR to LAN Port of the Wireless Bridge and set a static IP Address within the range of the Router to the DVR. 3. Forward the neccesary ports for your DVR in the Router to the IP Address you used for the DVR. -

Why not run Cat6 cable and use baluns? -
"I connected to my netgear and looked at devices connected and the IP address seem to have one number that was different that what was originally in the DVR during setup." Did you set a static IP Address in the DVR?
