  1. Hi, I've done some extensive searching and have come up with nothing, so I'm posting this question. I have a Swann 16 channel NVR unit, the one that comes with 8 cameras from Costingtons (as I call it). I know people may have varied opinions on it, I've found it to be reliable and easy to work in the 18 months I've owned it. I want to add a HDTV video feed to act as one of the IP camera inputs. In my mind, dusting off my EE degree from 17 years ago, I would think what I need is a tuner that takes an antenna input from over-the-air, tunes a digital channel, and then outputs it as an IP data stream that the NVR would "see" as a camera. The problem is, what device does this? Does one exist? Why? on a 9x9 (or 4x4, whatever) grid of images on the kitchen TV, I have a blank space that would be great to monitor a TV channel and other cameras. Any ideas?
