Hi pochrist, When system prompt the message means either webcam port 80, remote console port 5550 are somehow unable to be set as port for webcam access usage. You can find a little tool named active ports and install to the CCTV PC. You can use it to check which application occupied port 80 or port 5550. Please be noted that webcam,remote console, remote desktop ports number I have provided is default value, you can change to any other port you wish to use. Thanks.

Dear customer, Please make sure the webcam port/remote console port or Remote desktop port is not occupied by other software, ie. Skype or MSN. also some antivirus software might take over port 80 privillege. You can try change webcam port to other ports and using http://IP:port to access your dvr.

Yes they are the same in quality. The big difference between those 2 dvrs is 1704HB has IP and PTZ controlling support which eb1304net doesn't have.

We've used the Avers' standalone video servers and they're decent. We went the Geo route with the DVR Cards b/c the Avers cards didn't do audio. Do they now? Dear customer: For standalone DVR we have provided recently, audio feature is included. For DVR card installed in PC, audio feature is always provided .

It looks like AVerDiGi's EYEs Pro card. http://www.avermedia.com/cgi-bin/support_driverbynvdcat.asp But please kindly be informed that CD-Key is required to install our software and drivers. Normally our CD-Key is attached on tthe CD cover come with the installation CD..... I guess it wil be a case for you to re-install it.... It looks like AVerMedia DSS version card but I am not very sure. Would you mind PM me your card front back and side pictures? Normally we suggest customer to use analog and wired camera to connect to our cards.

Dear Customer: I would like to make a little comment on the hyperthreading topic. For hyper threading technology we are suggesting that if customer is not using Windows XP please disable it this is based on intel's suggestion. And for customer using Windows XP as intel suggestion it is better to enable this technology. Also on our latest NV6000 system we highly suggest customer enabling hyperthreading for better performance. As for dual core CPU we have tested on NV series and our NV series could fully support it. Therefore it is not a problem for using hyper threading technology nor using a dual Core CPU on our products . Sorry if there is any misleading information we have brought to you previously.

Hi Rory: For the question 3 the answer is no we do not provide SDK or ActiveX control for customer to customerize GUI. But I am not for sure what do you mean by direct you to a browser demo to check it out?you mean for SDK or for NV 5.7?

For question 2 we have a new feature on the network setting page which could set the the network bandwidth limit.Thus our NV DVR will not occupy all of your network bandwidth and could share reasonable amount of bandwidth with other PCs in same LAN. The network setting is depending on the channels and the main card you have installed. kindly provide me your hardware spec and how many main cards and extension cards you connected. Dear customer: 1. CPU must support MMX or SSE2 (codec, NRF, de-interlacing algorithm), above AMD Athlon 900 CPU will have these features support. For this requiremet for MMX or SSE2 we are focusing on CPU. And the second requirement is for graphic card 2. Display card must support YUY2 hardware stretch. This is individual VGA card issue and is not related to AMD or K7 (except it is on-board).

We never charge our customers for the upgrade version of AP. We keep on adding features and testing new functions for NV series and recently we release a formal version of AP around 2 months.
