  1. I think that my lens is on video because when I switch it to DC i won't work, does DC mean that the lens has other power supply, when the lens is on video what other settings can I do?
  2. I think I saw the orange screw, what is this setting for and you think this could help?
  3. I have installed on kodicom PC based system an high res camera that uses 520TVL , the manufacturer is YHDO no one famous. It is in the room that has a day and night lights during the day and a lot of slot machines. The proplem with the camera , I use autoris lens but there is a lot of white light, when someone is near the camera the white light is all over him and I cannot recognize him because of the white light reflecting, I can recognize a lot of thing the picture is not bad but it is not worht watching. I have tried all the settings with the OSD behind the camera but no luck, AGC BLC, shutter set to 50 and such. Did you have similar effect to this kind of cameras. Thanks in advance.
  4. I have installed this card on a Windows XP PC based CCTV system, and when I test the standard dome camera on a CRT based tv I get a normal resolution that a 380 TVL camera has, now I know that I cannot get that kind of image quality but difference is great, the image is poor. I think comparing with gv-250 is much lower picture quality. I would like to hear your experiences. Thanks in advance.
  5. I know there is some kind of a backdoor, but I have sent the a couple of mails to couple of people from yesmay corp 48h ago, but still no answer. This is not some brand good name, it is a cheap china product that I have a problem with now.
  6. The 24h cmos battery out did not help, is there anything else?
  7. I know it is not enough, but I left i a couple of hours. I will try the 24H treatment, but I think there is a another proces!
  8. Now I found it is a Jesmay product manufacturer, if it is of any kind of help!
  9. Few months ago i installed my friend a dvr that he bought frogm somewhere, and then I told him the password I defined. Now I came to him to setup the WAN conection but he forgott the bloody password and I cannot reset it. The dvr is 16ch D3616 pal dvr, i found some description on google, and when I opened it, it has a reset microswitch that only restarts the dvr, and a cmos cr2032 batterry that when I take out a couple of minutes, he remembers the settings so no help there. If anyone could help me I would be much grateful. Thanks in advance.
  10. The motherboard is Asus K8Nforce4 Deluxe and amd 3000+. The dvr software initalizes but no picture on the preview, but do have some occasion images. I have tried the software version 4.111 and 4.13 but no luck. Has anyone had issues with this hawell pci dvr card and nforce. Is there any solution other then changing the motherboard. The cards works fine on via chipset.
  11. I have tried the smaller motion area first time but no luck, do you all think that the problem is with the dvr, I think that because the cmos cameras react on the light change and that is enough, is it a hardware or software problem with the DVR, has anyone had a similar problem.
  12. All the settings DVR has per channel is to select motion area (which I set 100%), motion level which I set to high, and motion bu alaram, or detect... Could it be an issue with the DVR?
  13. Hello friends, I am new at this forum so a problem has driven me to try to find a solution here. I have a pretty cheap china DVR (I do not know the name, did not bother to look) and 9 CMOS cameras hooked up, model 801C. Problem is that it detects motion only when an object is pretty near like 6 feet, or when a camera has a wider angle and that object is pretty big, so it is poor for and does not do the job. The DVR does not have a lot of setup options, motion part has something like low, normal and high. Can i solve this without external alarm IR sensors, or if I cannot do that what type of sensors can I use, can they be mounted outsided the building, or can I use PIR-476 PIR motion sensor. Thanks in advance.
