I have and end user that has 4 pelco DX7000-16 (runs win98Se) I have managed one mother board replacement /Upgrade of a defective board. as well as adding storage with pci SATA contoller cards (2X 500gig sata with 4 partitions of 125 gig) Is there anyway to upgrade the OS to windows XP or 2000. The software delivered from pelco is a restore CD of the OS drive with the software already configured.

Searching for a dvr solution with features(for a large retail store): 1- record on motion definable by grid. 2- search while recording 3- search in recorded images of when a specific item has been moved (by a grid) like a motion detctor for the searchable video. 4- remote viewable 5- export image (jpg and avi) Customer already has 64 analog cameras with 4 pelco dx7000 Thanks Pierre
