This is a question for your ISP. Chances are they might only be blocking port 80 and 443. Which means you can change the ports in your NVR/DVR to different ports and forward those. Say 8080 and 8443.

IP cameras will run over COAX and you can poe the cameras via POE over COAX. Not sure what you mean by "IP cameras for the most part are not interchangeable between manufacturers" as I disagree with this statement. For me the advantages of TVI/CVI are short lived. The price is great and you for the most part don't have to replace the cabling for them to work but there is no real enterprise solutions yet. Dahua has a CVI encoder but good luck finding a US based distributor which you can order one and get support. You can use Hivision TVI DVRs as encoders if your VMS supports and licenses them properly. So until we can use TVI/CVI cameras with VMS solutions these systems are limited to small camera counts with clumsy GUI interfaces.

Only use single mode if you have to as the GBICs and media converters are lot more expensive then MM versions. What is are your distances from the cameras to the head end? You have 2 options: Home run all fiber like you did in your design with a media convert at each pole and a fiber switch or large media converter at the head end. Daisy chain from camera to camera. This would reduce the amount of fiber you have to run but will increase your switching cost as you will need a switch at each pole. At the head end you would only need a switch with a single fiber port.

Unless you love UNBT skip their cameras and go with a product like Dahua or Hikvision and you will have a much more useful system. There wireless is good... CCTV not so good.

well that's a client's requirement. And I would like to go for IP, need some help on that. If I have to install 16 fixed IP Cams so how much fiber cores i need? 32? because i think IP needs two cores one as Tx and other as Rx (correct me if I am wrong) as opposed to Analog which needs one core (correct me again if I'm wrong). Multi mode uses 2 fibers so each camera would need a pair. For what you are going to pay to convert analog to fiber and back you can do IP. Plus you will have a much better image.

I hope everyone that is reading this understands this is why you never exceed the spec of 100m (328ft). Unless you are using special converters you will never have a reliable connection. Avigilon, Exacq, Milestone, ONSSI, Genetec, DVTEL ..... will all support 4k cameras. The next version of Hikvision NVRs will support 4k resolution too.

POE in a IP camera is no different then VOIP phones or wireless access points. Still have the 328ft distance limits.

IP cameras are network devices just like printers and computers. You still have the 328ft distance limitation.

Most VMS/NVRs have audio but they are not easy for people to use compared to just picking up any VOIP phone and pressing 9. A VOIP SIP system will work just fine for you and is what I would recommend. Have a look at Stentofon SIP solutions. As you can see below you can use any VOIP sip phone to page the speakers. First thing you need to do is figure out how much bandwidth you have and/or paying for. Then you need to check the "change display quality" setting and make sure it is set to no more than "high (default)" You have "max bit rate" option from the camera that you will need to adjust. Be default the max bit rate is 12Mbps you can change this limit much lower until you find a happy medium between image quality and bandwidth. You will also want to look at the "image rate" and "keyframe interval". Reducing the image rate will reduce bandwidth and you will want to match the "keyframe interval" to whatever you set the "image rate" to.

Good news is the multi-imager only requires one license. Bad news is no analytics at this point.

Not gonna happen at this point with Avigilon. If you want analytics with Avigilon I recommend you look at their analytic cameras or Rialto units. Avigilon's analytics are far superior to Hikvsion's so you will get better and much easier to use results. FYI at ISC Avigilon showed the new version of ACC 5.6 which you can now search video for people or vehicles only on analytic cameras. You just highlight an area in the video, select people or vehicles and your results are shown instantly. Very impressive.
