thewireguys replied to AVInstaller's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
You could have Exacq email you on a event with the link for the web browser. Very easy to do. -
Recommendations for residential IP camera setup
thewireguys replied to AVInstaller's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Exacq is aware they need to improve event searches, and once that is developed and released, this app with rock. Chris, do you mean accessing "events" such as a trigger (pir, sound) and being able to view those recorded events from your mobile with Exacq?.....is Exacq the only software currently out there that would enable viewing previously recorded events from your mobile? You can't trigger events with the browser what he is talking about it reviewing recorded video. I have the the Ipad app and the Android App for demo. I think the Apple app is better then the Andriod app at this point but I normally use the web browser on my EVO. You can search on the browser but it is basic. The best part is you don't have to use IE or Active X you can log on to any computer Windows, Linux or Mac and view your system. -
You are not gonna come close to reaching max read/write speeds with 6 cameras.

Which online retailers are legit?
thewireguys replied to btrotter's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
And that is why I want to become a Avigilon dealer NO ONLINE PRICING you can only buy direct though a dealer " title="Applause" /> AGREED! We do the same thing. We supply PROFESSIONALS with PROFESSIONAL level gear, there is no online pricing anywhere. Period. I wish more manufactures watched their online pricing structure closer. Thank yoou " title="Applause" /> -

Does the firmware say it is a 2300? When you turn the lights off in the room do you hear a noise come from the camera? -
Avigilon H.264 Cameras
thewireguys replied to thewireguys's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
The Axis Q1755 literature claims support for 10x optical zoom with autofocus. Best, Christopher I have used the Q1755 but never the HD domes. -
Avigilon H.264 Cameras
thewireguys replied to thewireguys's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I wonder if you can with the Axis HD domes? I just assumed that you could and that is why I am surprised Avigilons domes can't. http://www.axis.com/products/cam_p3344v/ -
Avigilon H.264 Cameras
thewireguys replied to thewireguys's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
How did the zoom work? Does it need refocusing when you zoom in or does it work like a ptz? Sony's DH140 is quite nice but the zoom function is only usable when installing. Software driven optical zoom and auto focus are for set up only. I spoke with the Rep yesterday and he said you can change the zoom from the setup menu but not in the client software. Don't know why they do let you do it from the client software like a PTZ. I have my meeting with Avigilon on Monday so I will have more info and hopefully become a dealer. -
