    for Sales - NUUO SCB-IP plus 04 + 01

I would like to know what bugs you had with Exacq and I would be more then happy to log into your system a take a look and help you fix it. I have tested many VMS software and I have found Exacq to be the easiest to install, upgrade, and configure.
  2. What cameras do you plan on using and what megapixel? A 32 camera MP is a major undertaking for a first IP install. I would sub it out to someone that has experience or hire a consultant.

    Mobotix and Grandstream

It has 2 windows on for the q24 and the other for the phones camera. I can turn off the camera on the phone but the box is still there.

    Mobotix and Grandstream

works great!! thank you " title="Applause" /> How do you get the camera to go full screen on the Grandstream?
  5. Yeah I meant with live video running on it though, so with Exacq that would be the client i guess. Check the the Atom Zotac based boards they have much better on board video.
  6. Im not missing anything, thanks. It was already clarified that I was talking about viewing live video on the server as we do with all other CCTV systems. As mentioned most clients dont want to have to turn on another computer at the location to view the live video. Rory I must disagree. I put the server in the IT closest with the rest of the servers/networking gear and the customer uses the computer on his/her desk that they already use, as the Exacq client. You don't need a dedicated client machine unless you your doing a video wall.
  7. What was the CPU usage at? Ive tried HD video on several atom PCs and it was not good results. Server only CPU is about 5%
  8. As a client yes but server no problem with h.264, high res, and high frame rates. I have one Atom server/client Exacq Zotac setup with 1 Arecont 8185 and 2 Arecont 1305 6FPS h.264 with Windows and the customer is very happy. Is it as fast as exacq on quad core's no but it works and it is cheap. But I would only use the Atom as a server from this point out unless the client was only concerned with power consumption. Exacq on Atom with 24 IP cameras no problem if you want client/server then get i3/i5/i7. Most of my customers already have computers that they will use for clients so there is no point getting a client/server setup for them.
  9. If by simple you mean server only then yes. But like I said the EX-L can do 24 IP cameras on the Atom and I have tested 10 MP cameras without the Atom breaking a sweat.
  10. Could you elaborate a bit more on this? Is a Zotac PC as an Atom based Exacq NVR a good choice? It looks like they have Dual Core Atom with ION graphics. Would a system like that support the same IP cameras that the Exacqvision EL-S supports? How would its ability to handle multiple MP cameras compare to the EL-S? It seems like it could be a more reasonable way to use Exacq, but I would lose the hybrid ability. Would you setup the Zotac with Linux? Haven't used Linux before, so hopefully I could setup OS and install Exacq. This would be for server only. I have an iCore7 as client. Yup. I can build you one with Linux or Windows and you can use analog camera with encoders if you would like. If you haven't used Linux you will have a large learning curve. I have had multiple MP cameras and analog with encoders on Atom boards. You don't need the Zotac unless you are using it as a client.

    Mobotix and Grandstream

Yea I just downloaded that software. I just have to find the time to play with it. I can do a direct IP with the the camera but from what I understand I should be able to pick up the phone and call the phone with an extension number or have the camera call the phone on event. I was reading that the T24 auto configures the Grandstreams without a PBX but they just don't show your how to do it manually.
  12. You get what you pay for ACTI works but not the greatest. I just updated my 7411 and the night image is much better.
  13. I've been meaning to try the Zotac board with Ion video card, http://www.zotac.com/httpdocs/brochures/mb/master_nm10-b-e-ion_ion-upgrade-kit_%28nm10-dtx%29_v1.1.pdf, looks like it might do pretty well for a Exacq setup running server+client.... Any experience with it? I have used the Zotac board for client/server with h.264 Arecont Megapixel cameras and it worked but just allittle slower then I and you word like. The customer loves it but they have never worked with Exacq on a quad core server like we have.
  14. With the EL-S box it is limited to one internal HD but you can expand with iSCSI to what ever you need. The Linux OS runs on a SSD. Keep in mind the Exacq solution is Enterprize class where the Avermedia is not. It is not really fair to compare the Aver to the EL-S When you expand the EL-S with iSCSI is it for backup only or primary recording? Primary storage
  15. The EL-S box is also Atom based. I have built many Atom based Exacq NVRs and I would recommend you use them for servers only not clients. You need better video cards with the Atom boards for clients
  16. Arecont doesn't need auto iris with CMOS sensors. I have images from the Arecont 10MP. I can show you with PMs
  17. What software you use for your PC based DVRs? Because this is not a problem with Exacq or most other qualty VMS software or appliances. It's not a software problem. It is a network issue, unless you are network guru this really is not an issue for the what this guy is looking for.

Not sure if you can use a analog key board with NVR software. Take a look at this USB one. http://www.axis.com/products/cam_t8310/index.htm

  22. PM me if you would like more info or pricing on Exacq
  23. Well that is not really true. There is one standard and Exacq is fully compliant they problem is the camera manufactures not implementing the full standard I am assuming that is to get the cameras to market faster. This does not surprise me in any way, I have been in this business for over 10 years.
  24. Well that bring another point That Samsung Did Not implement fully and properly ONVIF I have seen this already few times with other manufactures I would stay out for now and wait Bingo
