I haven't yet delved into the SIP functionality of the Mobotix cams. Can they be reached from a regular cell phone, or does it have to be an IP-softphone? Yes they will work with cell phones but only audio...... You have to have a SIP provider and setup the VOIP to call your cell phone

Matt, I just talk to them They are boosting from 12 to 48V and connector is on main board just hard to see on pdf Alex please send me any contact info on this card....... I would like to order on and test it out

You want a NVR or hybrid setup..... If you use good megapixel or HD cameras your playback will look as good as your recorded footage. -

IoImage makes some great products but keep in mind video analytics are not 100 percent accurate and if they are not installed correctly and adjusted properly they will not perform very well. I have plans to pick up of there cameras for demo and see how well they work but I just found out that Dvtel just took them over so I am a little worried about continued 3 party NVR support. -
