The Hikvison inside ones are shipping... outside not yet. Atleast this is what I was told by our Hik rep. -
Who Sells Hikvision OEM?
thewireguys replied to L4HikOEM's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
FYI we were told by Hikvsion at ISC 2014 that they are going to start to limit the features of the OEM Hikvision lines. I am not sure what this full means yet but they made it sound like if you're using OEM Hikvision cameras with 3rd party VMS platforms that this will no longer be possible. Also sideloading Hikvision firmware on to OEM cameras will no longer be possible. We will see -

Are you using the web GUI or View software? The Export button opens a page in view that shows all the videos you have exported on your computer. These exports are in a default folder on your computer. You then have the option to Copy or Email the clips. Here is the default location of the exports C:\VideoIQ data\Export -

thewireguys replied to need2shave's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Did you need the analytics or are you just looking for the storage? DVTEL has something like the Railto but I don't think it has onboard storage. I am currently testing a I4 over a LTE connection and I have no issues exporting video. This unit also gets power cycled alot. What error messages are you getting? Are the issues with alarm clip for full alarm event? -

Why do they need to powered on and off so much? What cameras are you using with them? It's going to take a couple of months but things should be changing for the better very soon. -

I have been deploying Rialtos for while now and I haven't had any issues exporting video. That being said they are not perfect and they can be temperament but I have experienced more issues with View software. That being said now that Avigilon is in control and ACC 5 will be directly integrated with the Rialtos I see this only getting better and better. Are you selling these to customers or are you installing them for yourself? What firmware are you using? Have upgraded to Avigilon View? -

ubiquity new line of high def camera
thewireguys replied to jeromephone's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I really think UBNT trying to get in the CCTV market is a huge mistake for them. At this point there is no way they can disrupt the pricing in market and I would be blown away if they can match the qualty/price of Hikvision and Dahua. And I HOPE they add some type of support for end users if they go down this road. UBNT if you read this stick to what you're good at and give us more and better wireless options. -

OK side of car or rear of car? FOV is EVERYTHING in this calculation meaning if you don't have that number you will not be happy -

"ID a person or a car at 200 meters" You're missing extremely valuable piece of information. At 200M what is the FOV or how wide of an area are you trying to ID a person or car? What is the lighting like at your target area? What is your budget? -
Punching holes in the box is easy I just need to find that box!

Anyone know who manufactures this nema box?

I don't have a 29MP monitor and nor do I need one to be able to take advantage of full resolution of the 29MP camera same can be said of the 4K cameras.
-
I was kind of surprised at the bandwidth from the 4K cameras that we saw at ISC. Bosch had there camera setting and streaming live at the show and they were showing around 8Mbps. Axis was claiming they needed a minimum of 10Mbps. If you think about it 4K is 4 times the resolution then 1080P so if you have 4Mbps from a 1080P camera then you would be around 16Mbps for a 4K camera. Bandwidth isn't as big as a concern as CPU/GPU processing power on client machines. How many 4K streams can today's clients simultaneously decode at once is the big question.
-
Yea you can have major ice buildup
-
cbodby is 100% correct! Many companies were showing 4K resolution cameras at ISC but few of them where 30FPS. Here is a sample from Axis's new 4K camera WKXycyjehi4
