  1. Avigilon is not more expensive if you count Exacq recurring fees
  2. So how do you like Exacq now?

    NVR Bottleneck ?

What is your incoming and out going bandwidth? Why SAS drives? Total over kill for a NVR.
  4. THe M7010 is quite cheap of Axis. And if you want 30 IPS you can always take a P7210, which is a tad more expensive but always cheaper then a rack of Q74XX. And to the original question wether they have their individual IP's. That fully depends on the encoder. For example. An Axis 241Q has 1 IP but 4 camera's where as an Axis Q7404 has 4 IP adresses with 4 camera's. Avigilon encoders are by far cheaper then Axis encoders and they are full D1 30FPS all channels.

Example KT&C S20P4 in intercom speaker

Nice work.... I have mine tied into my doorbell. When someone pushes the button the system emails me images from multiple cameras and the system auto bookmarks the video. This is one of the images that is emailed to me plus you have all of the video that is auto bookmarked.

Do you have the call box working or is it just a dummy for the camera?
  7. You can do this with encoders and VMS software for a lot less if you don't use Axis encoders. PM me a I can get you pricing.

    Switch question

    Your still picking a switch
  9. Remote zoom/focus is becoming very important and can save hours of labor per camera. Avigilon knows this and I wouldn't be surprised to see this feature added when they refresh these models. FYI the H.264 and PRO cameras have remote zoom/focus.

    Exacq licenses forsale

My customer is switching VMS so I have 12 Exacq Enterprise licenses forsale which are attached to a removable NIC which is included. Licenses can not be broken up. Retail Price $2300 $1000 shipped https://www.exacq.com/products/exacqvision_enterprise.html
  11. You still haven't told us what is wrong with the video in the VMS and/or from the cameras.
  12. Nice pic, noticed the shutter speed could go down to 2 sec. Do you happen to know how you have that set up for shutter speed? Default setting is 1/30 for the JPEG2000 with a max of 2sec. H.264 has a default of 1/30 and max 1/30
  13. Do you really have to keep pushing this down everyones throats, this forum is for advise or to help not to advertise What?
  14. Gen 1 cameras are ok Gen 2 cameras are a lot better.
  15. do avigilon cameras require the avigilon s/w? or are they fairly plug and play with other software based nvr systems? couldn't find much regarding this on their website... particularly the jpeg2000 streaming JPEG2000 only works with Avigilon VMS

    How about expanding the inbox?

    Thank you " title="Applause" />
  17. So how much extra time does it take to export video from both systems? What about administration and users? Most small businesses are busy enough and when they need to use the system they wanna have something that is simple and intuitive. Also I have NEVER had issues running analog and HD/megapixel on the same system.
  18. But what issues are they having? Dropped frames, smeared video, video loss?
  19. What issues are they having? Is this showing up in the VMS live and recording? What VMS are they using?
  20. So they wanna know the performance of a IP camera on their network.
  21. Why don't you call Onssi and ask them?
  22. Axis M5014 is a sweet little camera. http://www.axis.com/products/cam_m5014/index.htm Video http://www.axis.com/products/cam_m5014/video/index.htm
  23. You are correct I WAS a big fan of Exacq but after all the issues we have run into and the complaints from customers I am not going to sell it anymore until they fix the search. I didn't sell them the Exacq system another company did we just took it over. They will be demoing Aviglon VMS for 30 days and THEY can decide if it is to expensive. But I already know they will switch since they have to pay to upgrade Exacq this month and when they search the same video on the same cameras and it takes 30min with Avigilon where it took 8 hours with Exacq
  24. I just got off the phone with one of my Exacq customers and he told me it took him 8 hours to search, export and burn video from 1 event from 8 MP cameras and he said he has 3 more events to go. Needless to say they wanna switch VMS.
