Hi all looking to buy new 8Ch with or without ip as well i have decent new and slight used Dahua cameras, but just getting crap Dahua recorders they seem to get worse as you buy more lol, so would be handy to just get descent recorder so i can use my cameras. thanks.

Ha Ha buying them in UK is a minefield its all the nearly hidden print like item is brand new but may come in a plain box or plastic bag from manufacturer. or you buy a camera and all the bits are missing. its a bad world out there LOL.

Hi Tom hard to find dealers and prices for the TVT recorders are there any in UK ? from what i can see they look ok, anyway let me know if you no a dealer in UK please.

Tom they are mostly these.DH-HAC-HFW221 RP Z. HFW 222-RP-Z IRE6 . HFW-40.IRP=Z-IRE6 They are all this series. yes control from recorder.

Hi Tom that sounds reasonable but would that take the Dahua cams as i tested them today and all work perfect but do need 8ch. plus they are all zoom lens.

Hi Tom ok its for home in east London 2min off the North circular rd, before the houses was built it was Fox,s farm; as for price i would like to get away for under £250 if i can.

Well had no luck sorting the dvr so ordered a new one,is there a problem just swapping the HD into new one or do i have to clean first would there be any nasty bits on the hard drive through someone changing all my passwords etc.

Hi i have a Dahua xvr7108h been running fine for a year, tried to log in couple days ago would not except my password, i have not changed it, also when monitor on i can see pics but no date time or camera numbers showing, is there a way to hard reset or have i now got a ornament, all help appreciated. thanks

Hi all have a problem with Dahua dvr, trying to connect a Dahua motor zoom camera but in the ptz settings the ( Control ) will not highlight to change, so no zoom or camera OSD. I have one dahue motorised zoom camera already and that was plug and play and works fine. DVR. DHI-XVR7108H. CAM. DH-HAC-HFW2401RP-Z-IRE6. the one a cannot set up. i am using the Analog video plug on camera ..yellow have tried HDCVI but no pic ?.

Hi not sorted yet, but according to all the info i have had my DVR has a max of 1080p so the 4mp will not work, i need to get into the camera osd a nd change to 1080p but having a problem getting it done, cannot get the osd up in the Analog either. You can only Change the Resolution using 4MP HDVR from Dahua or a Dahua 4mp Tester Where are you located ? Hi i am in east london, have phoned couple dealers but not interested only trade, offered a bloke £20 did not want to know.

Look at Dahua stuff if you are in uk.

Would a camera tester have to be specific for Hdcvi etc. looking for one for 4mp hdcvi Dahua camera. only to pull up camera osd and change camera settings.

Hi all any recommendations for a camera tester for HDCVI,AHD, etc looking for cheap that works ok need to get into Dahua camera settings to switch from 4mp to 1080p if that makes sense. will probably only use once. i am in uk so if anyone can help with place to buy or the one that should get me out of trouble.. or any other way to do this.

Ok so you mean i have to set camera osd on another machine or cam tester then plug cam back on my dvr.

Thanks Tom i have tried this but the control in the ptz part is not highlighted so i cannot change it from serial, was thinking going back to factory settings and start again , or need someone into Dahua to get into my dvr and sort it for me.
