  1. I am installing 4 ( channels NVR's made by Nuuo. Product seems to be good so far. As for the ONvif, almost everyone is right about Onvif incomptability etween IP cameras and NVR's. My recommendation, if the camera is not on the NVR supported list, don't buy it. So far to me: Onvif is like vodoo....and I don't like vodoo.

    I would take the simpler approach. I would run a dedicated UTP (Cat5) cable from the central office to each camera. As long as you are under 1200 ft. you will be ok using passive baluns. Use any PTZ dome you feel fit for the application with a local power supply at the camera. You can run one pair of UTP for video, and another pair for Data, and still be left with 2 spare pairs at each camera. Fiber is expensive, and tricky to run and terminate. Good luck
