    Did you check if there was a newer NVR firmware available?

    I have found that with these newer Hikvision firmware releases, that I had to flash several revisions to get the most current version. For example, 5.1 to 5.2 to 5.3 and then to 5.4 Otherwise I got the same errors that you did, this was for both Hikvision branded USA cameras and Lorex versions.

    ftp://ftp.hikvisionusa.com/Hikvision_IP_Camera_Firmware/Raptor_2xxx_Series/Value%20Series/ Shows 5.4.5 as the latest available. I had to go in a few steps to get up to the latest version. Try another version.
