  1. Hello, As a deaf person I need the lights in my house to flash when someone rings the doorbell (as well see who is at the door, in good quality to the point I can lipread them!). I looked into the option of getting a Ring Doorbell and Phillips Hue bulbs and set up a IFTTT to make the bulbs flash when the doorbell goes. There is also the bonus of seeing who is at the door etc. But Ring seems expensive and I am sure it has disadvantages. I am now thinking of getting a CCTV dome (I am a novice here and have no idea!) and getting it mounted to the door frame where the doorbell is to see who is at the door, with perhaps motion sensors (similar to Ring doorbell) and a wifi doorbell that somehow can connect with IFTTT so that I can make the phillips hue bulbs flash. I am not looking for an overly complex system or spend too much money. Am I expecting too much or is this all technically feasible avoiding getting a Ring Doorbell? Many thanks!
