you`d better change a good RS232-RS485 for testing,if the PTZ work well,everything will be clear. possbily the RS232-RS485 Convertor is not so easy to broken.

please check here [edit by mod-store link removed] as you don`t have specification of cameras and lens,we can only supply your a list for your reference. if you tell where would you like to install the camera,and how long ,how wide would you like the lens to be viewed,it would be easier to give your some suggestion.

open your User`s Manual,there must be something abuot the protocol the PTZ can support. take AVTECH for an example, 1,select the desired channel of installed PTZ Camera, 2,set ID Number (0-225) of the PTZ Camera, 3,choose Protocol for the PTZ Camera, 4,set the Baud rate of each channel 5,after setting ,press "OK" and then press "APPLY" to confirm. wish it will help.

how about their price ?

there are Passive RS485-RS232 Convertor ,that don`t need Power adaptor. and there are also Active RS485-RS232 Convertor,which needs Power for work. for your request,image there are something wrong about the Control data,suggest re-setting the protocol of PTZ and DVR.

in China market,seems 540TV Line is the highest for Color,and 600TV Line is the highest for B/W.
