I have a strange ui issue since updating from 8.3.1 to 8.3.2. The controls don't seem to fit the ui correctly. I figured the issue was that I selected the wrong UI size, but it's definitely set at my native resolution. If i lower the resolution, to say, 800x600, the controls fit the ui properly but the ui doesn't fill the screen.

After a few cars have been vandalized in our parking lot I have decided that our current setup isn't working how I planned. The system was thrown together with a small budget as a "better than nothing" approach. We are running Geovision GV-1480 for the DVR and the parking lot is monitored with a single Bosch Autodome G3 which almost covers the entire lot but simply does not do the job well enough. One incident was captured, but of course, the subject was blurred to the point that it might as well have not been captured at all. So bottom line, I would like to redo the system with some new cameras. My question would simply be, as I am sure everyone hears it a lot here, what are some suggested cameras/tactics to tackle this so the next time someone breaks something, I can do my best at capturing it on camera. The lot holds about 50 cars unfortunately i do not know the physical dimensions. There is decent lighting at night although not the the best, the G3 works solid with the current lighting.

I have 2 Bosch Autodomes but there are no mounts connected to them. I can't seem to find mounts on ebay because I apparently don't know what they are called. Are dome mounts universal or do i have to purchase a special mount for bosch autodomes? Any help would be appreciated.

The manual says rs-232, rs-485 and pelco protocol if the firmware is high enough but the problem is I don't even know the firmware version. If i just use pin 2 and 3 on a standard com port is that sufficient for a rs-232 cable or am i missing something? Thanks again

I recently came across a bosch autodome camera that I'm having a hard time finding information on. The camera itself when i pull the cover off shows LTC 0828/20ND G3 Envirodome but when the camera boots up it says Philips G3A Autodome with the date of 2002. What I'm trying to figure out is how to control this camera. What protocol does it use? Can I connect it via rs232? I'd like to add it to my geovision setup but I cant seem to figure out how to control it. Any help on this dome would be appreciated.
