    Thanks guys. I understand now. Have also found the expiry date option. Great piece of kit, but a steep learning curve !

    Just got a DS 7604N-K1/4P that has the same issue that I can't delete any files. Any solution ? How do I set an expiry date ? Or overwrite HDD when full ? Can't see those options anywhere. Thanks.
