Yes, megapixel cameras are crap with low light, but not all. Check CCD megapixel cameras - they are way better than CMOS at night.

GANZ: GH-FWC24 HOUSING/MOUNT COMBO PACKAGE This NEW kit includes a dust-tight and waterproof outdoor housing with heater, sunshield and wall bracket with pre-wired video and power cable. The IP-66 rated housing is constructed of advanced polymers and fiberglass with an o-ring seal for maximum protection against the elements. It's also a great choice if you're tired of bugs making a home in your camera housings! The video and power cables are concealed in the feed through wall bracket for enhanced appearance and protection against tampering. The housing has been designed to accommodate most common camera and lens combinations and requires a 24VAC power supply. With a current draw of only 350 mA, this housing is one of the most energy efficient units available requiring only 20VA to power the heater and camera. If you add up all of the individual components included in this package, you can easily see the incredible value this combo offers. Cameras and lenses sold separately - see "recommended components" below. Made in Italy! Dimensions: Approx Width 5.75" X Height 5.75" X Length 15.25" Inside clear dimensions: Approx Width 3.5" X Height 3.00" X Length 12.25 " -

From my own experience I can tell you few things: 1. Be bloody accurate. Always keep promises. If you said you will call back - then DO IT. If you said you will email something or send fax - then DO IT. 2. People do like to see things in life. If customer comes into office - do have some set up for real demo. 3. People do like when you visit them. It saves their time +you can see what they actually want(as 90% of people do not understand cctv/security things). When going to visit customer - take some equipment with you - show them, let them play with it. It works 4. Speed. Its VERY important. Nobody likes to wait. So try to process orders and deliver products in super fast time. It pays. 5. ALWAYS reply to emails. Whatever people ask or say or send you comments. 6. NEVER be rude to anybody. 7. Be honest. If camera is not high quality - tell your customer about it and let him decide - pay more and get quality, or pay less and get something in mid range. 8. Be ready to sacrify your weekend/stay longer at work/do some weekend work if customer wants that. Remember - one satisfied customer will bring you some more customers. Best advertisement is word of mouth. How to find customers? Well, ir you don't advertise, then you wont find them. Places where to advertise - local newspapers, local magazines, advertisement boards. Print some labels and stick them to your car/van/truck. Take part in some exhibitions. Spread flyer's into mailboxes. Ring some local companies who might be interested in your services. Good luck

If you are talking about PC for PCI DVR card then you have to look at that cards requirements. Every manufacturer has their own spec. But one of them usually is Intel chipset motherboard.
-
CCD - type of sensor. There is one more common - CMOS. Type in wikipedia, loads of info. Or google "cmos vs ccd". WDR - wide dynamic range. Also google it. Angle - well, you know it yourself that corner of your room is 90 degree angle Search wikipedia "cctv lense".

You need to name some spcific model and where do you want to use it.
