  1. Camera is powered from 220v(but works on 3.3v), also the housing. Then there is PoE injector which runs LAN with power to AP on the mast. I`m taking 220v from lamp post.
  2. Is that their cube camera and do you have it in a housing? Yes Also is that a var-focal lens your using? Yes, it is ACTi "LEN-205",MegaPixel lens, CS, 2.8~12mm, 1/3", F1.6, Manual IRIS, day/night, 102.2~23.7 degrees horizontal F.O.V Cheap. You can't beat that for the price. How is the low light on that camera and what housing are you using? I dont have night time images. But there are two 500w lights. So, plenty. Customer is happy, so I am. Just and ordinary outdoor heated housing from Taiwan.
  3. Guys, Are there any devices than can help me? Any kind of injectors which will push signal more than limited CAT5/CAT6 100 metres? I`m thinking of three Veracity LAN extender. Any other devices?
  4. Compare 2 x 79$ wireless cost or running fiber on 220m..... I think you know what cheaper

  7. Dont use their free software - its crap. Use Luxriot for example.
  8. Job done with these devices - they are DAMN amazing things, and hell cheap as well.
  9. ACTi ACM-4200, 1.3mpix, ACTi megapixel lens(LEN-205/2.8-12mm) For that price, very good camera.
  10. Hey, I found one interesting stuff - what about NanoStation wireless LAN? Anybody used this? Loogs good for that price http://www.ubnt.com/products/nano.php
  11. But will it work if my camera is not POE? Its ACTi ACM-4200. Yes, if you are not using a POE switch then you will install the Verasity "OUTSOURCE" device prior to the Verasity "OUTREACH" Device. If you are using CAT6 you should be able to get the 220M distance with 2x Outreach devices, installed at 110M intervals. Just one OUTSOURCE or before every OUTREACH there needs to be OUTSOURCE?

  16. Also you can read this: http://ipvideomarket.info/report/ip_cameras_for_the_mass_market
  17. Quite good comparison. Lot of true
  18. No, you pay only once. Software itself will not stop working - but you wont get any support or new versions of software after year. So, you are ok.
  19. Dima privet Regarding cameras - have read before - not the top brand, but not the worst as well. You get what you pay. I would suggest Luxriot - cheapest you can get. Really great software. Google US online shops, buy with credit card, dont buy locally in Russia or where you are - it will cost you triple price. www.Luxriot.com Consider VGA cameras from Axis, new M10 series. Cheap and quality. But Luxriot doesnt support them as H264. Udachi.
  20. I must say - superb site with loads of easy to understand and nice articles. Great! Useful thing.
  21. Axis camera station is way too expensive. Luxriot is really great, but doesnt support these cameras. Suggestions

  24. Hmm, how long will it last then? Your opinion ? Have you had similar experience ?
  25. I`m asking if Axis 210 will work indoors at 0c temperature if manufacturers minimum is +5c degrees.
