  1. I can recommend Luxriot, I work only with it. Very nice software for a great price. Also, Messoa does provide free software as well. http://www.messoa.com
  2. NVRs are separate computers and nobody works on them. They just sit in cabinet and do their job. Whats the difference is it Win 7 or Win 98?
  3. Just dont deal with idiots He will need most powerful Core i7, but even then he wont get 25fps. H264 is too power consuming.
  4. Sanyo is just selling it double price But if you look on luxriot.com supported device page, all these Sanyo cameras are there(if they have updated their page). Max fps is 25, its impossible with H264 and there is no point unless its F1 race track. Is fine with 12fps. But even with 12, he would need VERY powerful Core i7 cpu, 4gb ram and 512mb video card.
  5. Sanyo = Luxriot. They just paid money and Luxriot produced branded version for Sanyo. http://www.luxriot.com I still need to know answers to these questions: Are you going to watch live all cameras or just playback when needed? What framerate are you planning?

    Same spec, different size

These KT&C bullets seems to very nice for semi-covert indoors installs like small shops, service stations, gas station shops. They also have monochrome, outdoor, day/night. Dont know about image quality, so, anybody used this brand? Feedback?

  8. Depending what NVR software you will be using? Are you planning to use H264 or MJPEG? Are you going to watch live all cameras or just playback when needed? What framerate are you planning?

    Mobotix

You just forgot to mention they also have highest price in the world(just before Avigilon) Not if you look at the total system cost For example?
  23. Agree. Anyway nobody will see its size when its in outdoor housing outside 10m from the ground. Size does not matter(at least in CCTV and in this case)
