Im also wondering if I should just spend the money now on a 6-8 camera instead of just 4 right now.. is the 1080 vs 2k that much more of a difference?

Im looking into getting what you recommended so im gonna look at going that route.. may add 2 more cameras just to ensure I got enough coverage.. My house is kinda broken up so hard to cover all the angles.But thanks for the help!

Well there is so much info out there but yet who can you believe? Lol anyway I just bought my first house a few months ago in a very rural area.. I have about 5 entryways into the house not counting windows.. Im looking to find something that is good but not overly expensive.. It doesnt need to be wireless(no internet available here without me using my hotspot) I need something with at least 4 cameras but want something that is able to have 8 just in case I want to add others. Now my price range is 350.00 but if there is something that is a much better option I can up my budget a little.. I have been looking at the amcrest 960h 8 ch setup but I am seeing some mixed reviews on it. Not sure how I feel about it.. Like I said im completely new to this so I have no clue whats good..
