I have a DS-9016 NVR with a mixture of IP cameras and TVI cameras, 15 in total. Motion detection and intrusion detection are set up and working, and I have some PIRs linked to the alarm inputs for extra detection and control of one of the PTZ cameras.
My question relates to what the "Local Recording" setting means, in the "Recording Schedule" in iVMS-4200. I've attached a screenshot for reference.
Does anyone know what it does?
On a different subject, I have two things I've been trying to do for ages and can't. Can anyone help with these:
1. Only send emails when I'm actually away, based on my iPhone location. When I'm there I get hundreds of emails alerting me to me being in front of a camera. I still want to have it recorded, but I don't need all the emails.
2. Change the email subject title to name the camera. Currently it's "Motion Alert from Camera A2" even though the camera has a name like "Garden Shed"; it'd be much better to make it "Motion Alert from Garden Shed camera".
Thanks for help on any of the 3 above questions.
