Thanks for the reply( i was waiting for the reply since i started the thread) After looking through instructions i would not upgrade my firmware ( i did not find my dvr firmware on dahua website i have DH-DVR2108c) and customer care gave me files to upgrade firmware via e mail so i am affraid if those are not right ones), it looks i may not be able to debrick my dvr if anything goes wrong. thanks for the reply

Hi friends I am new here. I was searching for the right firmware for my dvr and i got one by customer care whom i called today for firmware up-gradation.Customer center gave me three firmware files (.BIN) to upgrade them by one by one using usb stick. but i was wondering even if by all cross checking i got the wrong firmware installed what will happen? Can we get it back to work or not?should i take risk of upgrade my DVR?I am affraid that if i brick my dvr. is there any backup/stock firmware option for us that we can install it in dvr using some kind of software (like we use ODIN in android phones when we completely brick them) I have dahua dvr model is very old( DH-dvr2108C ) 8 channel

What can i do now for audio ? i have dahua dvr model number is DH-DVR2108C Please suggest if there is any possibility for sound
