I have a zosi 8ch h.264 dvr and four 2mp 1080p cameras im happy with. this is for monitoring livestock in a barn and the 4 cameras provide a good overall look. i would however like to get a ptz camera for the birthing stalls and a couple on the pasture around the barn. Zosi only makes wifi ptz cameras not bnc type to connect to the dvr. From what i can google the cameras are ffmpeg and rtsp. what information is necessary to know if one camera is compatible with a different manufacturers dvr?
