I have a Hikvision Door Station DS-KV8102-1C (outdoor unit) and want to know if it can be connected directly to my Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2/8P NVR. I'm not worried about using the unlock features. I simply want to record from the door station to the hard drive of my NVR and be able to live view the footage from my NVR. I will connect the door station to an independent bell so the bell rings when the door station button is pressed. Is this possible ? If I plug the door station directly into my PoE switch I can see the door station through the iVMS software and live view the footage. As soon as I try connecting the door station to the NVR, I lose all connections and cant see anything. Any help would be much appreciated. Brent
