Not bad!

To isolate the IR from windshield glare you would have to have a light tight tube from the lens o.d. to the windshield. If the camera has a fast lens, you could just open it and disconnect the IR board. Then you could use the cam day and night (headlights).
-
Does it come with a motor?
-
Good work! Doesn't the IR reflect off your windshield at night?

The jvsg is the cad software that I use. For the price, you can't beat it.

The lens is a Computar f1.3, 2.8-12 mm TG4Z28FCS-IR. It is mounted on a Panasonic CP454 camera and set at 2.8. The DVR is not set at max resolution.

Yup, that is it. Here is a still.

Google DVRM10. I just bought one and it is awesome. The metalwork is on the cheap side but the capability of the unit makes it a winner. It is 4 channels, H.264. Has GPS capability, can record G forces, right/left turns, speed increases, etc. The site also has vehicular cameras, and small cased (1"x1" ) cameras. The unit has a 250 GB SATA hard drive in it which is suspended by springs. Max HD size is 1 TB.

I use a vibration marking tool. I mark the crimped area on the connector. Never lets me down.

I have been looking at this KT&C/Exview dual camera for awhile. Has anyone tried one ? I have been a Nuvico fan, but just had one fill up with water. It WAS a super camera. Thanks in advance!
-
Thanks for the reply. I am curious how it will compare to this Nuvico night shot that was taken with the camera that blew.

I posted back in September asking how to adjust time in my DVR. I could not post a picture then. I now can post, so here it is. Is this a time adj. pot?
-
The internal temp is 106 deg per the stat screen. I am wondering if the # of cams effect the timing. I.E. running 8 instead of 16 cams.
-
Pix kinda small but looks like timing cap for clock frequency Here is a cropped pic. Maybe clearer.

Altronix power supply in attic
DVR MAN replied to cglaeser's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
My attic hits 130 deg, and higher in the summer. I would not even think of installing a power supply up there. -
Siamese cables with 10ft or 15ft length?
DVR MAN replied to todd2's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Why not buy a long length and cut it up and install BNCs where needed? -
OK. I give up. I do not want to tie up the Forum. I got it now. see the white arrow. Is this a time adj pot?
-
My 16 channel stand alone DVR time stamp gains around 8 minutes a month. Is there a pot, or any other way to correct this problem?

I locate a pic, upload it and the pic goes into space! I saw a command line above the post box that said bbcode is off. The check box says it is on! I just emailed 1&1.
-
it rarely worked from day one, i dont know as im not the admin. I always use something like www.tinypic.com or my own website hosting. Rory I use thumbs to shrink the pic. See above edit. The site says HMTL is off, BB code is on, Smilies are on. Why is HMTL off, and why does it say BB code is on when it is really off? Don't you tell them what to do?
-
Here is the MB........................I cannot add the .jpg! Why? This is going to kill the forum input! I see a "Close all open bbcode tags" command line listed at the top of this note box even though the check box says they are on. The Website should fix that ASAP!

Thank you for your inputs!

I tried one in a mobile DVR, ZERO success. Matter of fact, I tried an adapter that will interface a Laptop drive to the IDE desktop connector in the DVR. The DVR screen says formatting.......then "format complete". The drive will record and playback, BUT when turned off and re started it formats again!. The format info does not stay modal on the drive. All previous data is gone. Go figure.
