*Please move this post to where ever it should be posted. This may not be the right place.* My knowledge of CCTV is somewhat limited. Can you run a Samsung IP camera on a non-Samsung DVR? The cameras came with a Samsung (POS) DVR. It has been garbage. It is a clunky interface and performs its assigned tasks intermittently at best. The camera use a BNC connector and a H.264 compression. Has anyone else had trouble with Samsung DVRs? These came in a bundle. Cheap, but I trusted the brand name. Big mistake. TY.
