I'm attempting to integrate several existing cameras controlled by a Panasonic WJ-FS616 into my new Verint system. Currently the PTZ function control is via up-the-coax. Is there a device that will convert RS232 or RS422 serial from the IP encoder to Panasonic up-the-coax control signals? I'm attempting to integrate these cameras into a Verint ST1708e-t-as IP encoder. The Verint encoder supports the following protocols: American Dynamics CoVi EVQ-1000 Honeywell KDG Kalatel Panasonic Passthrough Pelco D Pelco Matrix Pelco P Phillips-Bosch Vicon Surveyor 2000 Thanks-in-advance for any ideas. UPDATE: I found a link for PelikanCam Coaxial converters which looks like it should do the job. Anyone have experience with their gear?
