Hello everybody, I've been a lurker on these forums for a while now, and I've found it very useful. However I'm stuck:
I have two EVI-D70p 's Video I've finally got sorted, I've learned s-video has a much cleaner picture. These cameras work off of two control options RS-232C and RS-422 both of which have Visca written above them. I would like to use the RS-422 as it seems more versatile and a system upgrade would only really mean removing cameras and not cables. I have the opportunity of getting a "Samsung SPC-1010 PTZ Control Keyboard". Would this work? it says it is compatible with RS-422 however it doesn't list Visca in its supported protocols. I would like to buy the SONY RM BR300, but I simply haven't got the money.
I'm open to suggestions, I'm a noob at this so please be gentle, I have a crap budget (alas buying older cameras). I'm now in your capable hands
Take care
Kyle
