I have used geovision with a pda, it was a tungsten t5. Picture was ok, better than most. Speed depends on internet from cell phone or other connection. -
have you used direct burial cable, they have better insulation so that should cut down on your signal lose.

It is used here alot in Georgia, but nobody knows it. -
All of the cameras are hooked up in a ip configuration box or computer, then broadcast over the internet just like most companys do.
