I want to upgrade the old, lousy cameras I have on my DVR-based surveillance system. Somewhere I read something about some surveillance DVRs being unable to use cameras with resolution above a certain unspecified TVL limit. There was no further elucidation. What, if anything is this about? I don't want to buy the wrong cameras. Many thanks for any clarification!
