Sorry to reply to a 3 year old post, but.... Can you shed a little more light on VeraLite's ability to send an external trigger? I currently have a wifi pir that triggers IFTTT to send an http admin command to BI to start recording on a camera. Am I correct in assuming you're using Veralite in the same way? The reason I ask is that IFTTT has such a terrible delay, it is practically useless for triggering a camera to record in BI. I've been trying to figure out an alternative way to issue an http command to BI. I would definitely buy a Veralite if this method has been reliable for you?
