I've sent you a PM, have you checked it?

Anyone here has used this item Avermedia EB1304net? How's the price of it? The best price,,,

Hello id2003, I've checked through the Alcatraz ALD-810. It is a realtime HCIF item concerning the definition of the image, you can know this from the recording speed 360x120 (360x144) 240(200) ips for 8 channels ones(CIF: 360*240/240ips; D1: 720*480/240ips). Several points for you to check an item: 1. the processor. The most famous two name is Philips and IT. 2. Is it a real time item or not? The recording speed should be 25ips per channel, so 8 channel will reach 200ips, and 16 channel will be 400ips. 3. The definition. You will find there are D1, HD1, CIF etc, and this is the definition of the image you will get. D1 720*480, HD1 720*240, CIF 360*240. Usually, for personal or retail environment use, a CIF item will be qualified. 4. CD/DVD burner. This is sometimes an optional choice. Most of DVR has HDD and USB slot for storage, and a 500G HDD will be enough for at least 41days(24hrs per day) recording file archive with the CIF definition. Of course it will archive more when you don't need full 24hrs recording per day and use schedule recording or motion detection recording. 5. The network functionality. IE and software view, most of dvrs can do this nowadays. 6. The stability of the device. this point you have to pxperience and know it by yourself. Hope you are happy now.

ha, I've not had time to refer to the 3 companies, ,, the channel I mean is a original manufacturer, like us. I have send you a PM, pls check your PM box for my information. Nice to receive your reply. Here is 22:37 in China, what's your time now? and which state are you at? Regards,,,

Crazythunder, a shock name You can get a good dvr at your buget from another channel, that's from the original manufacturer.

For your first question, you can refer to si_kungs's method. For your second concern, I think Yes you should have a lock box for the dvr device, maybe not necessorily a lock box, but I think that the DVR should be placed in a seprate room just like your company's net control center, a room special person has the privilege to enter, and what's more important is that, any of a DVR device should have password to login, at least 3 class of password that you can set, this way it will be secured. For your third question, I don't know the answer. Our DVR don't have this function, manual backup only. You can contact your supplier for more information. Hope you happy. Happy April Fools' Day

HELP.....Nuvico DV3 16 channel CD-R
jasmilelv replied to homefree's topic in Digital Video Recorders
I feel so sorry for your sad story I think that CD-ROW doesn't work at all,,, Our product don't have CD-ROW, so I don't know how to help you, but even so, I can know that this CD-ROW doesn't work at all, that's why you can't have images from the disc in your computer,,, You can return this DVR to them,,,let them replace with a new and workable one. Hope you good. -
The address is definitley right - with colon followed by the port number - indeed, it's the same as the one in the server software. I'm sorry for you,,, But pls try to use the address that has no colon followed by the port number when you use software to access, i.e. you use www.tmvideo.meibu.com but you don't use www.tmvideo.meibu.com:88 in your software. Yes, you must IE access by www.tmvideo.meibu.com:88 Just try it. Good luck to you...

I don't know what you mean? It's illegal to watch others privacy,,, You can use it to check the situation with CARE attitude out of management mind, but better not to keep looking in and make your staff paranoid,,, no matter you are the clerk managing the surveillance or you are the boss of the company,,,

Have not found the DVR-9016MP-USB by google engine,,, It might be better to post a picture of this dvr here,,, Ha,,, Jasmine

what are you mentioning about? Pls make your sentence clearer,,,,

I think MAYBE for both,,, The best way before you get an answer is to try to connect a DVR to have control,,,, How about the software? I mean does this 2404 box through which the camera is controled has a software? I'm not clear with this box, maybe you can put on a picturer here for us to see and work out a way,,, Jasmine

securitysys, you said it. I'm with you. There is not wise to waste too much time for too little benefit, while the time actually can be used somewhere else. Dual code streaming,,, What this technology is made for? You view the video at a lower bit rate for a smooth streaming while you record the video at a higher bit rate to HDD,,, then you can go over the recorded file for something jamed or lost or blur when you viewed,,, I'm not old in this field,,, give me your ideas,,,,

Hi, Turki, You make me confused here,,, On earth, is it your disktop or your laptop has a problem for you? Or both?
-
I think what you mean is the smart motion detection function,,, Most DVR has this functions, and you need to set it active in the software(check your software for doing it, which channel, which day, alarm trigger out(a buzzer needed connected here), alarm trigger record,,,) jasmine@tmvideo.cn www.tmvideo.cn

Record IMG Size: Frame or CIF (What is the difference!) Frame means it's 1~25 frames adjustable; CIF is the resolution of the device, it is 352*288(D1 is 704*576), it's just the resolution of the DVR. You'd better to get some help from your supplier, I think. Also, I'm sorry to say that you don't know enough information clearly from your supplier before you buy it(such as the resolution just mentioned, that's a very important feature of a DVR concerning both function & price).
