For listening audio when you minimize gv I am not sure. for startup in quad view go to cinfigure, general setting, camera/audio install you have to check deafult screen division and put on 4 channel. if you don`t whant to startup in full screen folow this: configure, general setting, system configure, startup auto log in and you uncheck autologin in full screen mode.

yes you are in right even 8.0( with original cd) do not work on fake gv. I have one fake gv I will picture and put the large pic. on this forum. so every body can see the difference.

I have cv2 8.2 and just now I see that cv2 8.2 suport 1600*1200 resolution. If your vga suport 1600*1200 maby you can get all of 48 cams. Andy told that the resolution 104*768 suport 36 cam. 1280*1024 suport 42 cam. it is logical that the resolution 1600*1200 suport 48 cams. you can try it. But I think that the pictures gona be to small. best regards

ok I try my Cv2 with dual vga output. On the main monitor in the resolution 1280*1024 you can get 42 cam. On the extended monitor you get event list. In GV 8.2 you can add 2 different cv2 ip adress, to conect on the 2 different CV2, but I didn`t find solution to separate wich camera conect to first cv2 and wich to conect on 2`nd cv2. Maby Andy know that is it possible to separate cam on two different cv2. In that case you can use 2 desktop to conect all 48 cams. I didn`t try control center but I heard that you can view more then 48 cams.

You can set up anyway. you have to install ddns on pc where is center v2. (you have it on gv cd) and register at dipmap. And when you conect gv to center v2, in the center ip field you tipe youre registration at dipmap. EX 123456.dipmap.com

1. You don`t need statick ip adress, you can use ddns on GV cd. 2. You can use thre pc to wach 48 cam at the same time. 3.on first pc you can leave gv center v2 ports by deafult, on the next two pc you have to change center v2 ports and forward it to a 2`nd and 3`th pc. EX. on youre 1`st Pc you forward 5547. 2`nd PC you forwad 5557 and on youre 2`nd gv you have to set center v2 port to 5557 and on youre 3`th pc you forward 5567 and on youre 3`th gv you have to set center v2 port to 5567. By the deafult ports are. 5545,5546,5547,5548,5549. 5547 is center v2 port by deafult. sory for my bad english

You should put an relay on PGM of that alarm system, and you can program the PGM how many sec or min. you whant to be trigered. sory for my bad English.

I think that, the best solution is PARADOX (made in CANADA), ex. SP5500, with IP modul IP100. With this you can access youre alarm system over internet. ip100 work with DDNS, encryption 128bit, you can alarm or disalarm, when the system disalarm you can get an e-mail or sms (if you have kids go to school, when they come back from school you will know when they come back), you can turn on or turn off PGM, and a lot of things. sory for my bad Englih.

I have almoust same problem with attach B/W camera with color camera. First I attach B/W camera it`s OK, |When I attach one color camera, the color is wonderous (I think it is right word), and pic. on bouth camera is bad. When I remove B/W camera (AV TECH)it is OK. When I attach one more color camera, until then everything is OK.

In the AV settings/ video source: Check is it resolution 720/576 De - interlace. In the General setting/ camera/audio install, check the box wave out if you whant to listen audio live, and you have the box wor rec audio. If you do not have audio in the Video/audio log, you should check is it frame by frame or it is in real time. Audio works in real time.

SimpleVue Geo can not work with gv 8.2 in 720x576 resolution. only 320x240.any sugestions?

I by GV 650 fake card to see difference. When you by you have to tell what version of software you need. only 6.5 and 8.0 and there is a difference in price. As I know , GV fake pc cards is made in CHINA. I know for this type .GV-600,650,800,900,1000. The original gv software can not work with fake gv cards. When I put the gv card in copm. it works fine 6-7 hours. I get error mesage on every 3-4 hours "GENERIC WIN 32 HOST PROCESOR" (or something like that) I have that gv software for fake Gv pc cards (8.0). If someone whant to see a difference i can to upload somewhere. maby Andy or Rory?

it is possible that you are install PDA viewer V2? you should install Gv microsoft Smartphone viewer V2 for windows based phone. and I think that you can view 3g live without to install viewer. Jus type youre adress in phone browser and you got the option 3g. Try it.

as I know, gv cards work only with gv software.

try to check disable video lost. maybe you have video lost?

You can use gv keylock utility to lock down windows and under the gv main to set up user permission, so user can not view recorded files and can not delete this files.
