Put Geovision in the startup folder. That will start it automatically when the compputer starts. If you dont want to enter the username and password, click on General Setting > System Configure > Start Auto Login.

I have noticed this to. But what I find even more annoying is the usless info that is now included in the email.

rory if I had to guess I would say its either the drivers for the video card or the card itself. I also don't have those issues on my Win 7 machine.

Yeah the same thing happens to me. Its because something from the the geovision software loads after the system is up and it causes the taskbar to the foreground. I don't think there is anything to stop it other than Geovision changes the order that the software loads the different processes.

8.4.0.1 was released in late december and that is what I am currently running. I have also seen a post of someone saying that are running 8.4.0.2 but I have not seen that in the wild yet so I don't know if its true.

Just as an FYI, I have been using both a GV-800 and a GV-4008 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine since 8.3 and I haven't had a single issue.

Version 8.4 has been released. However, for those of you that have an iPhone and use GV-iView, be aware it currently doesn't work with 8.4. Im assuming they are going to release an update to iView that works with 8.4

They updated the iphone app yesterday so it now works with 8.4

8.31 is older than 8.20 so you shouldn't have any problem with the newer version of iView

Make sure the ports are correct.

It says exactly that in the Notes. There are only certain versions of the GV800 and are 64-bit compatible. I don't have it in front of me or I would post which ones are.

Geovision 8.3.3 supports many IP cameras. Look at the documentaion to find the manufactures.

Im using it in a Win7 64-bit computer and mine is using 228,232 k of memory. It hasn't crashed once.

You take the FPS and divide it by the number of cameras to get the FPS for each camera.

Its working fine for me. It sounds like your settings are wrong. Did you try checking the "Authentication " box ?

According to Geovision, they should have 64bit support before the 2nd half of 2010.

It says it works with software version 8.3.2.0 so Im assuming that has been released or soon will be.

I am having an issue getting my schedule to work correctly and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Below is my schedule: PM 18:00 - AM 08:40 Mon,Tues,Wed,Thurs,Fri,Sat,Sun Rec,Remote,Output 1,2,3,4 AM 08:40 - PM 18:00 Mon,Tues,Wed,Thurs,Fri,Sat,Sun Rec,Pager/Email,Remote,Output 1,2,3,4 So basically I want Geovision to Record on Motion ALL day EVERY day but I only want to receive Email Alerts from 08:40 to 18:00. The issue I am having is that I am receiving Email Alerts on ALL of the cameras when I have the Camera Settings set to only send Email Alerts on Camera 2. How do I set a schedule to record All Day EVERY day but only send Email Alerts for Camera 2 from 08:40 to 18:00 ?
