any suggestions on what kind of cameras to look into?

a stand alone dvr is fine..id like to find small white cameras to blend in with my house.

do i need 3.5mm cameras or 3.5mm lens? and thanks for the info! really help me out..i like the haning plant ideas to help cover the cameras! what type of cameras would you reccommend for around my price range of 3k?

the cameras will be mounted on all 4 sides of my house. I work 3rd shift and my wife will be home by herself, we live in a good neighborhood but ya can never be too safe. Anyway, Im looking for cameras that work well in day and night time. Im not sure of the exact distance but the area needed to be watched mostly is the front yard, I have carriage lights above the garage to provide lighting, and the camera will be around mounted around the same height maybe a little higher. As far as the DVR goes the 2 cameras in front of the house will be wired pretty close to it..at most 20 ft....the 2 cameras around back will be a little further away. I would like to stay under 3k for it all...and also would like the cameras to be small as possible but good quality..and one more thing. I would like to able to zoom in and have the face recognition feature...any suggestions?

what are some good bullet and dome cameras that will show good quality in day and night? would i need a zoom lens also with the bullet cameras?

samsung scs-c55ir i like the bullet cameras...i need 4 cameras for my house..just dont know what to get ..they will be used mostly at night. Id like to find small bullet style cameras, maybe just 3 of them and a dome camera for my covered porch around back...any suggestions? also im looking to run all 4 cameras to 3 different tvs in my house and would like to have motion detector set the cameras in recording mode..what do i need?

cant you get in trouble? those cameras are also viewing someone else's yard...isnt that invasion of privacy?

there is line of sight...they are going to be looking from one side of the house to the other..so not that far away either...if i did go wired what is a good quality yet small camera? (like to put camera in siding to where all is hidden except lens.

Im looking for small cameras to put around my house..4 cameras exactly, like for them to be wireless and small as possible but with good quality. They will be used mostly at night. Again small as possbile, cameras that i can hide..price range is up to $3000 anything like im looking for?
