I must have missed the name of the better and cheaper product you were talking about... Well I know when I see a post with spelling errors, I always take it as gospel And I kinda doubt you could get it cheaper than I did. Got the DVR, plus a exview camera and NiMH battery pack for $100. So where is it cheaper? I am not from the states and not from the UK. My languish Dutch, so i make a view of mistakes so what. 3 suggestions: no link no link no link (you can put a 500gb hard disk in here!!! real time recording, not specially for security but usable i think) Alle less than 150,- Can not find the 16 GB SDHC version of it so quick, but i stumbled over it on the net a couple of times. edit: Hmmm to bad i can not post a deeplink... Hmmm... Nice butt are there side affects wen the manufacturers is using to standards at the same time? And how is this done? Well, I don't know if RickA has a nice butt... But I can say you basically have to choose if you will use NTSC or PAL, and that choice depends on the video standard in your country. ie, In the US it's all NTSC. You can get PAL cameras and a PAL DVR but you can't play them back on an NTSC tv or record it to a NTSC VCR. int he UK it's all PAL. The rest of the world is all one standard or the other. Most folks just stick with the standard that you country uses. What country are you in? I am from Holland (The Netherlands Amsterdam) We have the pal system over here. I have a bit trouble whit some burglaries (breaking in tho houses) and vandals breaking cars and so. I am a bouncer at a nichtclub and have to deal whit some bad people sometimes here in Amsterdam. So a cctv i can really use. I have a cheaper DVR AVermedia. My speeddome from ebay is is already broken by fireworks a new year. (I was working in the club and some punk blow up the glass, the DVR was not there yet) So i am looking for new cctv camera's and found out that a lot of the cheaper cctv camera's are pal and ntsc at the same time. -
