    Geovision gv-1480 dimension 9200

Thanks for replying, the video card came with the system, but it is not onboard, it is using the pci slot. NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE I used PC monitor to focus the cameras, and I will use your advise, and focus it using the tv. no each camera doesnt use it own power, you think it can make this big impact on the resolution? Please take a look at the picture of the supply i am using to each 4 channel. 2000ma 4 channel Monitor is Dell 19fp 19 inches so which thing i should change first, POWER SUPPLY? CABLE? VIDEO CARD? DRIVERS? what do think the cause of changing colors first? dark to light, purple to gray?

    gv-1480 didnt work

Thanks RORY so now my choice would be dimension, what do you think of dimension e521 with intel due core, or dimension 9200 with duo core. both seems to be intel chipset as i can see on dell website.
  8. first i dont understand the steps to get this thing to work, I have router set by my network company. cisco router with firewall. i need some pros help via phone in order to do it i guess. 9. i have the i-view 1408ase. and everytime i review the video files, and when i paused the video, and then play it again, it only plays one which is pre selected and bottom, it doesnt play all 4 cameras, and i have no option to get it to play all 4 cameras back. i have to restart it individually, and then they all go wacko. one goes farther than others. I hope i am explanning it right. I am about to built one more system using geo 1240 combo cards, previously i had used the dell system, so anything has changed since then? like would i still use dell system, or something has changed in that regards? is dimension still use the same motherboard and everything? please respond, thanks

    gv900-8 channel

    1. what is the best of the best price anyone could pay for gv900-8channel 240 fps. 2. can any of u check this out, and thier software, at www.dvrmart.com and let me know, what kind of card is that?
  12. Hi, I havent had the dvr in my system for almost a month now, all the employees know about it, that i took it offline to put the dvr at one of my other location. I think one of the guy is stealing. I just got my old dvr back (i-view) now i want to put it back online, but like to have the desktop clear like it was, winxp wallpaper. I just want it to run it in the background, so no1 knows it is running. Is there a easy way to do it, like should i get virtual desktop software to do it with, so let it run in the quick launch, and disable mouse and keyboard (which i dont know how to disable, and enable) please advise. one more question i have about i-view, when looking at the previos clips in all the 4 cameras, is there a way to fast farward all of them at the same time. I cant get it to work, only 1 cameras get forward at one time, i wanted to see all get forward.... any ideas, please advise, thanks
  13. hello rory, I just intalled the new software, and still i am not sure how to work this increase speed feature in all the cameras input. When i am reviewing the clips, If there is nothing going on at that time, i just want to look at the whole store in fast farward, like all the cameras in increase speed (x1 to x10), so i can cordinate which guy came in, and when to cashier and so forth, but with this, i have to x10 cameras individually, so one by one takes more time, and u lose track. I hope i made myself statement much more clearer this time.
  14. I have read here, that there is version 2.9 out there? where can i get that, i know hermishs said he will put on his ftp..! but is there a way to get it now so i can install it tonight, and see if that will solve my fast forwarding problem. well i can put that on system tray, but i dont want anyone to know if that is even running. that would be my last option, if i cant find anything else
  15. i think atleast, http://www.geovision.com.tw/ is it me, and all of you are getting the turkey flagged site

  18. In the playback mode, If i go back to replay the old recordings, after a while, if there is nothing going on, i will fast farward to 2x 4x 8x to see later time, but my question is, it fast forward only one camera at a time, not all 4 or 8 cameras. Please Advise

    gv900-8 channel

i needed one 8 channels, 240fps.... the guy here in chicago is charging one with dvrmart.com board and software.... 2.8g intel 512ram, 8 days recording.. and 17 flat panel monitor $5200... i think i probably could make on with geo or something better with that price i guess.. but dont know much about making it anyway.. i though gv900 would be better than gv800 cuz of more frame per second....
  23. Finally i found this forum before making my purchase, I will give you whole story so it would help anyone helping me out. I have a grocery store in chicago area in which i like to put 8 cameras. I have talked with 2 guys that do this kind of job, and one gave me an estimate of $5200, and the other gave me $6500, with system, real time, and harddrive, and cameras everything installed with flat panel monitor. I finally found the software that they use, it is from dvrmart.com I really like the featuers in that software, but i dont have that much money to spend on that system. I had been searching the ebay for that purpose, but still not fully satisfied, now i like you guys to help me select the dvr card that would give me 8 channel,1audio,240fps, and good toys i would say. 1. which dvr card is the best out in the market with good features. 2. which cameras are good in the market (480 lines suppose). 3. please advise the model number on dvr card as well as cameras. and if i have any questions i will ask in later thread.
  24. yes color. day and night would like to spend almost $3000.00 for the whole thing. i dont know why pc-based, is there anything else? i though it was so i can see it over the internet thanks for reply
