Hi folks, for the last few years I've owned the 'Sansco S4D4C1T' CCTV system (from here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BPMGUEC ) and I have been XMEye for monitoring and playback. I find that the app (and site) leaves quite a bit to be desired to be honest, and I'm curious if there are any alternatives out there? Or is XMEye the only application compatible with this? I'm wondering if perhaps I can forward the ports on my router to this box and be able to access it manually, without a third party app. Or even consider writing my own in the future (I'm a software developer)
