I have a couple of questions if anyone could help me with. I have a 4 ch hik turbo 5mp but one of the cameras at the side of my home gets no other light and the IR shows absolutely nothing visions just black, so the first question is can an IR illuminator be linked to the motion detection part of the camera ??
Q2 is I've only managed to get 3 cameras working I thought I damaged the cable pulling it through so ran another cable and that wouldn't work either. It worked when I connected it close to the DVR, but Could the fact its the furthest from the DVR make this happen does that make any sense its also on a 15m cable. I did see a thread which mentioned bandwidth
any replies would be much appreciated
