  1. i have tried the above and i can't do this there must be a easy way to set the dvr up .the problem is the instruction book that came with it is useless on my dvr in network setting i have ip address submask gateway service port http port protocol Tcp max connection ddns host name server ip port enable ppp0e i have information in all of these they are default ip address numbers and letters note these are not my router settings there must be away round this as i have PlayStation 3 and other computers working through my router .
  2. i have a dynamic IP that dont change that much, i think i have port forwarding but not sure as there are settiings in my router like TCP IP LAN IP Address Protocol Type LAN Port Public Port Enable
  3. the problem is that this forum will not let you add every thing its thinks its spam its crap you can't put a full question in .i will like to view from out side and log in from any computer .is there any other online servers that you can use for free that can do this .i can view it from inside my house no problem .but if i was in work can i view it there as well .

  6. i have set the webservice ok and i can log in from my computer and laptop in the house i can log in and view my cctv ok.the problem i have that is that my father cant login from is a computer at is address ??????? i have a belkin router,i throught you can view your cctv from anywere using this softwear, if so what am i doing wrong ??? in my dvr settings or router ????????here is the setting i have in my dvr

I bought a Sony cctv day and night w/66 ir veri-focal lens camera ,I have a problem setting it up ,the picture in the day looks great but by night its gives good night vision also but ,the images around people are have a bright light as if they glow in the dark and you can't make out there faces and look like aliens . its not a cheap camera to buy also the dvr i bought his running through a scart would i get a better picture though the VGA . thanks alan

HI all i have been looking for a home cctv camera and dvr to cover my drive way for my car and also my back garden any advise on a cctv camera and what to buy to get a the best at night and a good picture in the day ,i have been on ebay and seen many makes and all different prices,but i have never bought a set up before like this ,i have a very cheap make at the moment that is very poor at night and even with a light on its very grainy picture and by day i get a lot of clare off the sun that is very bright white cutting a cross the lens of the cheap one i have .and you have a job to see anything . i have seen this one on ebay CCTV-SONY-520-CCD-40M-NIGHT-VISION plus this link 520 Line Outdoor CCTV Security 50m Night Vision Camera and this DVR Mini Compact 4 Channel CCTV DVR (digital recorder) the dvr i want to record for about a month at about 12fps with both camera running at the same time would this be ok for me any help PLZ THANKS BIGJAY
