RapidOS USB 2.0 CCTV DVR - software recommendation?

Hi. Hoping someone can help with recommending software for use with this basic USB DVR. It's currently installed for a friend on temp basis, connected to a dual core 2 PC. The supplied software refuses to run on the PC - crashing out. I've installed a trial of Active Webcam but unfortunately after a day or two this freezes and stops capturing movement - possibly due to a wireless camera that seems to fall out now and again. Can anyone recommend any more reliable software?
