Hello! Did you figure out to solve the problem ? Follow the steps. In entrapass 1) Setup the Gateway 2) Setup the Site + Put the communication port. ( With KT300 you can connect with RS232 or With a module converting from RS232 to RS485) 3) Setup the Controller (critical to put the s/n on the box there) At the control 1) do your connections ( Careful to make the right pin connection) 2) do a hard reset (make a jumper from RL1 to DOOR-DOOR 1) If the Heart led is blinking 3 times you got connection with the pc, you can always check the small yellow led rs232 or rs485 will light (left side of the controller). If you need any further help pm me

i am think the same that the problem became from network...... But i cannot get it how is possible to plug a computer instead of camera and not loosing a single ping when we try to sent a big file to another computer in the network and when we plug it back nothing no picture from the camera....... -
Hello. You can fill the DNS setting in your router so when its going online to communicate with the DynDNS site that you have assign. I think you can change the port on the DVR at least of the most that i have install they do. You have to port forward the specific port of the DVR that you have assign into your router. BTW you have static or dynamic IP? Its easier with Static ip because you dont need to assign DNS, you just port forward the ip of your DVR for example... IF your router has internal IP 192.168.1.1 then your DVR must go something like 192.168.1.x ( where x a number of your choice but be careful to be in the IP POOL of your router). then you need to port forward the PORT that you have input to your DVR and finally to fill the DNS on your rourer..... if your router does not have DNS setting you can fill those in your DVR. I think that help you a bit.

Hello guys long time to be on line i was around all the time now i am back in my office. "home sweet home". I got a problem but i cannot found any solution my head is going to blow up. In a project we are using 21 camera. 2 * Analogue IR camera (Brand MINKING i dont remeber the model but is for long distance). 2 * IP server (single channel) Acti i think model 2100 19 * IP camera Samsung SCC-C6475P The most of the connection are wireless and the AP that we are using is ALVARION. The system has been test with nuuo and milestone Software but the problem is the same. THE problem is that we are loosing connection with 3-4 cameras. the 2 has problem because the UTP cable is about 70m-85m. the other 2 cameras are connected straight to the AP (Alvarion) but listen that, When i connect my laptop with the camera everything seems work really good i am not loosing a single "PING", but when i connected to the AP i am loosing a lot of and the screen doesnot even reach to the control room. by the way when i am in control room and ping the AP is loosing a few ping's. If i disconnect the camera and connect a small laptop and do a file trasfer everything work fine and when i am ping the AP is not loosing a single ping. I think from my experience that the problem is not the CAMERA. The problem coming from AP because the LIVE STREAMING.The IP Camera is simple without a QoS (Osi Model) and the laptop got top higher layer at the osi model with QoS. But from the company that represent alvarion in Greece says that their NETWORK work really fine. Can you please help with any ideas? P.S. Btw do you know anyway that i can solve the problem in the camera that the cable is around 70-85m? I am using a switch in the start but its doesnot help a lot. Best regards to all!

Hello i got a new project and i have stack what equipment much be use for the best and cost effective solution. The camera must be install about 1000m from the control room. 1. solution is that to use IP camera with router and omni antenna at the control room.. (but i a don't prefer to use PC). 2. If i will use UTP is going to be a bit expensive the installation of the cable. And also do u know and medium quality Balum that i can use... any other idea?
