Hi, The date time of the AVC760 DVR will reset to 1 Jan 2000 whenever the power resumes after a blackout. I had searched the forums and the solution I've found is to replace the 3 Volt Rechargable Lithium Battery(Part BT1) as listed on Scorpion's website. Does anyone have the component diagram of the DVR so that I can tell which one is the battery? Thanks!

Hi scorpion, As what Umpa had mentioned, we can't do a backup over the LAN with the client software provided. I tried to backup the harddisk(mine's a 500GB) to an external hard disk(also 500GB) via the USB port but there seems to be a problem for the DVR to recognise it (No problem with a 512MB USB drive though). Not sure what is the problem but would appreciate greatly if you can help me to resolve this. There are several backup software in the market running on WIndows with the capability to backup other computers in the network but I'm not sure if they work for DVR as well. Anyone has any experience in that?
