1. depends on which model, the low end model only support, but give you 5mp lite (half 5mp) resolution. some old model, not even support 5mp 2. yes, rg59 or rg6

looks like you have hikvision nvr, but your camera is not hikvision. so onvif compatible issue, it's the most common issue for ip system.
