In this case your protect is only login and password without firewall and router NAT.
-
I understood that you have public IP address on DVR, is that correct? In this case you don't need to redirect any ports. You have to enter this public IP address on DVR network settings.
-
Can you give us screenshot from your router and status tab? Cable Modem-----Network Switch------DVR and my question is this real Network Switch without router (NAT)?

Looking for recommendations for a system
jimmy29 replied to alpha's topic in General Digital Discussion
Look at the company's offer VIVOTEK (IP cameras) with recording on SD memory card and motion detection. Image is very good on 2-megapixel CMOS Sensor, easy configuration through a web browser, possible streaming by the local network or internet (external IP), ST7501-freeware, Vivotek company also offers wireless cameras. -
Will try REMOTE MANAGEMENT it will be good test.
-
If you have External IP (92.18.38.176) please try with DMZ configuration, unless your ISP is blocking some Web applications in network. Sorry I'm from Poland and I don't know network parameters ISP in UK.
-
It is simple. Enter only the IP address in the DMZ, do enable, and click save
-
tried with DMZ in your router?
-
Enter IP address (192.168.1.200) DMZ in your router. Then try to connect to dyndns domain. See what the results are.
-
Please try without port number, only address IP if computer is in this same local network (in internet browser)
