Hi, I am just about to upgrade our CCTV system, it’s is a fairly substantial system currently with 3x dedicated micros DS2’s and a mix of 60 IP cameras, mainly DM Oracle IP cameras. I am upgrading using a staged approach due to financial reasons. The NVR’s are being replaced with a hik 64 channel NVR and the cameras with Hik cameras. The NVR and 18 cameras will be replaced first, with the rest of the cameras next year. I would like to plumb all of the DM cameras waiting to be replaced into the Hik NVR to get rid of the DM nvr’s is this possible? I can’t see Dedicated micros as a supported 3rd party with Hik and I can’t find comparable protocol info for the DM cameras. can anyone help my frustration! many thanks.

Hi, Thanks for your reply it’s for business use, but unfortunately I am stuck with what I am getting due to our procurement requirements! the old DM system has been in 10 years, I didn’t think I’d be talking about DM again either! Horrible stuff. based in the UK.
