Hello, I recieved a DVR from a client whose computer I fixed, of some chinese brand I presume, to see if I could fix it. I can get my way around computers so I offered to see if I could do anything to help, but I'm stumped.
When I give it power I can here the hard drive spin up and it sounds normal, but the front lights don't turn on, the buttons on the front don't work, the ethernet lights don't either, and plugging a mouse or keyboard doesn't give them light as well, and I can't get an image on screen (VGA or HDMI). I checked the board the best I could but can't find any obvious problems.
The sticker on the motherboard says it's a 7804r-ms-v3
